SSRS 2014 reports generation failed after Oracle 19.9 client upgrade - Error - ora-06550: line 1, column 7: pls-00306: wrong number or types of arguments in call.

Hi, We were using the SSRS 2014 version on Windows Server 2012 R2 standard and Oracle 11.2 client. Everything was working fine, now we have upgraded the Oracle client to the latest 19.9 version and now all the reports that uses the Oracle data source throws the error "ora-06550: line 1, column 7: pls-00306: wrong number or types of arguments in call.". When we test the Oracle Data Source the test connection is successful, but when we actually run the reports its throwing the above wrong number or types of arguments in call error for all the stored procedures used in the call. Our Oracle DBA can trace the call in OEM but could not find the root cause of the failure. When we test the same PLSQL using the SQLPLUS on the server its working fine. This again confirms only the SSRS could not do a proper handshake with Oracle Client components. SSRS 2014 is compatible or tested successfully using the Oracle Client 19.9 version? Any support on this issue is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Chandra.

Hi @ChandraArumugam
I am not sure if this is a version compatibility issue. But this error is occured when calling a stored procedure. Please check the number or type of parameters.
Best Regards,
Joy
