Primary DCHP / PDC failed, after replaceing outlook cant contact exhcange server

My Primary Domain Controller failed, I got DCHP and DNS up and running on my exchange server, it hands out IP's and the the network pcs can get on line, however outlook can not see exchange server. when doing a nslook up on domainname.org it resolves to the correct ip of my webhost ( who has an mx record pointing back to our office) I looked at the dns on the old server ( crashed one) and there were no references to domainname.org in that dns server, So i don't know what would have changed to prevent workstations from getting email

Hi @DonAbernathy-9539 ,
Have you transferred the PDC to a healthy DC?
Outlook cannot contact Exchange, is there a specific error?

1.Please try to log in to your mailbox in OWA to see if it works normally.

2.Please run the following command to confirm that Exchange is currently fetching data from that DC.

Get-Exchangeserver -status | fl *domain*, *originatingserver*

3.Please check the autodiscover service:
1) Hold the "Ctrl" and right click the Outlook icon, then click the Test E-mail Auto Configuration.

2) Using ExRca: Microsoft Remote Connectivity Analyzer

Thanks.. Since this post, I have done some work, I can access the webmail locally via domainname.local/owa and I can access it remotely via ipaddress.com/owa

When I launch outlook it either gives the error outlook cant open because it cant find exchange server, or it loads and when you hit send receive it says it cant connect to the server.

Hi @DonAbernathy-9539 ,
So what is the result of your Autodiscover test?
What is the specific version of your Exchange and which protocol is used? (MAPI or Outlook anywhere)
