When launching into the Remote desktop application, the configuration window doesn't display. How can I show it?

When I click to get into our terminal server, a .rdp file is downloaded to my PC. The first time I clicked it, the Remote Desktop Connection Window opened and once I clicked Connect, a Certificate window asked me if I want to connect, and I selected Yes. Now, each time I click the downloaded .rpd file to launch it, the Remote Desktop Connection window is not shown to allow me to change the display settings. I need to get into these settings in order to enable a second monitor. Any help is appreciated!
Thanks!

    Hi,

Did you save your credentials? It might be automatically connecting therefore you won't receive any options.
You can right-click the .RDP file and select Edit, this will allow you to configure the Remote Desktop settings.

You can then also uncheck the "Allow me to save credentials", this means that the next time you should receive the Remote Desktop Connection settings window upon opening the .RDP file.

    Best regards,
    Leon
