Hi,
Windows 10, version 1803 (the April 2018 Update) Home and Pro editions have reached end of service.
Also KB4537762 has been replaced by KB5001634.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/march-18-2021-kb5001634-os-build-17134-2090-out-of-band-87d39f77-26ad-41ab-b670-8101820168b6
I suggest you use Media creation tool or ISO file to upgrade to the latest version.
Please download Media Creation Tool from the link below and select Upgrade this PC at the first screen:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

This will save your files and apps while bringing you up to the latest version by the most stable method. It will also bring all of your Updates current and solve most problems since it reinstalls Windows.

Hope above information can help you.

I followed the instructions but now it says that it will have to update the Windows and the update will delete all the apps and files on my pc. This is not what I want, I want to keep my files and apps. I tried clicking on that option but it's not working and the warning message at the bottom says that it is trying to upgrade the Windows version and it is not in the same directory or something like that. If that is the case then it will be a tedious and risky task to perform since I will have to take a back-up of everything. Thank you for replying on the thread and giving out instructions!

Hi,
Since your Windows10 is too old, so I suggest you upgrade to the latest version.
According to your description, the upgrade wizard could not find default Windows 10 app folders.
You can fix the problem by editing the registry:

Note: Make sure that you back up the registry you modify it.
