printing on a Mac

When I attempt to print my Word document on my Mac (21.5 inch) my Samsung printer spews out pages of garbled text. My printer prints emails without a problem. Any advice? Paul

    Was it successful to print Word document before?
    If yes, did you do any changes before this issue occurs? Such as update Mac OS.

    Does this issue occur with all Word documents?
    Please check whether files are garbled if you convert the documents to a PDF files.
    Besides, please print these PDF files to have a check.

    I also suggest you make sure the printer driver and Office for Mac are the latest version.
    To update Office for Mac, you may refer to "Update Office for Mac automatically".
