uwp + dapper + mysql = system.platformnotsupportedexception (only with release, debug is ok)

Hi, I've created a uwp app in visual studio, 6 weeks of app building, app run without issue in debug mode in visual studio, but the final app crash with : system.platformnotsupportedexception I really don't wan't to reinvent the wheel (removing dapper and creating my own database access)

Currently, Microsoft Q&A supports the products listed over here: supported topics (more to be added later on).

Since your issue might be related to a third-party library, it will be out of the scope of Microsoft Q&A. My suggestion is that you could try to use your own database access instead of the third-party library first to test whether the is related to the third-party library. Because some unsupported APIs could run in debug mode. Also, you could ask the support of the third-party to check if the third-party library supports UWP and .net native. If the issue is related to the third-party library, then you might ask the third-party library support for help.

Does it work when you connect using plain ADO.Net? Seems like a problem with MySQL provider, perhaps you installed wrong Nuget package or something like that.

@ivanich : you're right

i replaced the official mysql connector (Mysql.Data by oracle) with MysqlConnector (Bradley Grainger, Caleb Lloyd), and it's finally working.
