Microsoft Teams - limit number of participants from invite

Hi All,

Is there a way to limit the number of participants that can accept a meeting invite?

For example there'll be 5 training sessions, and the aim is to cap each one at 50 attendees so that there's an even spread across the sessions. Will the meeting invite be able to be set up to 'close off' a session's invite if it already has 50 attendees, so that those who haven't accepted have to select another session?

Thanks!

Hi JosephOoi-4831,

You can use the following command to modify the maximum number of people who are allowed to attend a Teams meeting.

 Set-CsConferencingPolicy -MaxMeetingSize 50

For more details about this command, please refer to this article:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/skype/set-csconferencingpolicy?view=skype-ps.

@SharonZhao-MSFT Can this be set for a specific meeting and not a global setting? Thank you
