StorSimple 8100

We have a StorSimple 8100 & our vendor said support is ending 2021. Are there any options to migrate to new device (we had a 5000 that I migrated to 8100). Thank you.

Hi,

You have a few options:

Azure options

  • Migrate to Azure File Sync

Third-party options

  • Migrate to Panzura Freedom NAS

  • Migrate to Nasuni

You can find the migration options from a StorSimple 8000 series over here:

Best regards,
Leon

StorSimple 8000 series will reach its end-of-life in December 2022. If you are considering new deployments of StorSimple 8000 series, we recommend that you explore other alternatives such as Azure File Sync or Azure Data Box Online devices for your workloads.

Hope this helps!
