WSUS will update Upgrades for Windows 10 with an error0×8024002e

hello,We have recently built a new WSUS, but we have encountered a problem. When WSUS is updating the semi-annual update of Win10 or the version 1607,1809, the update will fail and keep reporting errors. The client error code is 0× 8024002E!!!Is there any good way to help,Thank you!

It seems there is no update for a couple of days. May we know the current status of the problem? Is there any other assistance we can provide?

Thanks for your posting on this forum.

Did all the clients occurred this error? When the error happened? During the downloading or the installation?

In fact, there are many reasons why the feature updates fail to be installed. Not all features in a feature update will be available on all devices. Similarly, a device may not be able to receive updates if the device hardware is incompatible, lacks current drivers, lacks sufficient storage space, or is otherwise outside the original equipment manufacturer’s (OEM) support period.

In my opinion, we could also upgrade the clients by the Windows 10 Update Assistant if there are little number of failed clients.

Hello,
but this error will occur on every Windows 10,After Win10 quit WSUS,Accept the updated version because using own Windows Update.
And when connect to WSUS,often get a "Important safety and quality fixes are missing from your equipment
" message.
when I tried to update, I was told that the update failed.

It seems that all the windows 10 clients missed some essential fixes in your environment and failed to upgrade. Please try to approve the latest Cumulative Updates and Service Stack Updates for the windows 10 clients first. Then we could try to approve the feature updates after all the clients installing the latest Cumulative Updates and Service Stack Updates.

In my opinion, not all features in a feature update will be available on all devices. Similarly, a device may not be able to receive updates if the device hardware is incompatible, lacks current drivers, lacks sufficient storage space, or is otherwise outside the original equipment manufacturer’s (OEM) support period.

The best way to approve feature updates for the WSUS clients is that approve the report needed updates.
