Message at Windows Logon: the object invoked has disconnected from its clients

So I've seen a post back from 2016 or 2017 about this issue but never did see a resolution for it. I've been having this issue for a month or two now. It happens every time I start my computer up from a full shut down. The first time I enter my PIN to sign in I get this error. Then I restart, sign in with my PIN and it works fine. I've been using my desktop PC for over a year now and it hasn't been an issue until recently. I've done nothing different to my computer. I even downloaded the windows 10 media installer and started a fresh install of Windows from scratch (keeping none of the files, settings, or anything). Then of course updated all my drivers, made sure Windows was up-to-date. The usual steps after this type of procedure. I'm still getting the same error every time I boot up from a cold start. Is there a fix for this at all?

it may be late, but i got this kind of problem too, after using a progam name "razer cortex", the solution i've found is to shut down the pc, turn it on, and while its in the startup, pressing the "ESC" key, and click "continue boot" 4 times out of 5 it helped, so if you find this problem, keep this in mind, (also if something is write wrong, dont blame me, im 15 year old and i do not live in america or uk) hope you will no longer find problems

So it took a bit but I found the secure boot under the boot menu in BIOS. It was already enabled so I didn't change that setting. There was however no option for device guard. I do see a Windows 10 option for "Device Security" which is enabled. Might that be the same thing just renamed?

No, Device Security is confined to Windows Security or Defender app IMO. Device Guard is different feature, and it is virtualization based security. You may need to check with your device manufacturer, if your system model supports Device Guard.

It's a self-build. Like I said, that feature doesn't show up in the ASUS BIOS. Secure Boot default setting is enabled, but nothing in the BIOS called "Device Guard".

Hi ,

Based on my understanding, after you reinstalled windows system and did not install any third-party software. You still have this error message. Is that right? Please feel free to let me know if I have any misunderstanding.

If yes, I would suspect this is a hardware related issue. Please check if there is any external device connected to the computer. If yes, disconnect them and try again.

Best Regards,
Candy

Correct, this was a completely fresh install. I had it remove all applications, files, settings, et cetra and the issue still persists. I've tried removing all USB devices already but to no avail. It's not a hardware issue as I've checked and everything seems to be working fine. All of the parts are new as well and I keep the inside dust-free. The fact that it's the same thing every time makes it even stranger. It's always after booting up after shutting down and a reboot is all that's required to resolve it.

Just want to confirm the current situations. Does this problem still occur?

It does, and it's consistent as well.

So there was a Windows update a while back and I'm no longer having this issue! Not sure what happened but it's now resolved.
