Raspberry pi/Iot Hub

I am having issues connecting raspberry pi 4(canakit) to IoT Hub. the online tutorials don't help much.
any way to connect the pi to IoT Hub without initially having a sensor? I prefer python

Could you confirm have you checked these docs already? Connect Raspberry Pi to Azure IoT Hub (C) and Connect Raspberry Pi to Azure IoT Hub (Node.js)

To add to the comment of @AshokPeddakotla-MSFT, you also asked for a way to connect the Pi to IoT Hub without a sensor. That is completely possible and Microsoft has a sample for it on GitHub. You can find it here. It sends telemetry to IoT Hub without needing any sensors.
