What is your environment now?
If your Exchange server migrates to Exchange server 2019, Skype for Business server 2015 should be migrated to Skype for Business server 2019.
The following table shows which combinations of Exchange and Skype for Business Server are supported and where voicemail is processed.

So SFB 2015 isn't supported with Exchange 2019 then?
I am unable to find a clear guide on how to actually setup SFB and my SFB 2015 setup is currently incomplete. Unified Messaging on Exchange 2016 isn't configured, SFB edge server not configured, and I don't have a reverse proxy server setup.
Skype setup got sidelined for zoom but want to get back to it.

It seems so. Official document provides no such guide now.
