Grant Online-Only SharePoint Document Library Permission to single user (or group of users)?

Hi there,

Is it possible in O365 SharePoint to give specific users read/write access through the online web-portal but don't give them permission to sync objects locally through OneDrive? I know you can disable local sync for a whole Sharepoint / Library but we only want to do it for some users and not all.

Hi @OliverLennox-4187 ,

Per my understanding, it's currently not supported to disable local sync for specific user in SPO. You could only disable sync at the library/site level which would affect all users who have access to it.

I would suggest you go to SharePoint UserVoice to make your suggestions to the official.
