Stop code: KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED BSOD directly after latest update kb5000802

When I installed KB5000802 I am getting BSOD with Stop Code: Stop code: KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED
I got this error even when doing simple task like surfing web changing tabs in browser and also during playing games.
Sometimes, I even got this error back to back after every restart.

After I uninstalled this particular Update not a single BSOD has occurred. I don't have a printer.

Below is the link for miniDumps that I have collected when this Update was installed.

Hi,
Firstly, you could roll back to an earlier restore point on the PC or uninstall the update manually. To uninstall the update, follow these steps:

Open Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
Click on ‘View Update History’
Click on ‘Uninstall updates’ link.
Locate the update and click on ‘Uninstall’.
Select ‘Yes’.

Also, Windows 10 KB5001567 is currently rolling out via Windows Update and it fixes all the printer issues which were accidentally caused by KB5000802 and other security updates.
Windows 10 KB5001567 Direct Download Links: 64-bit and 32-bit (x86)

Hope above information can help you.

Hi,
If the problem is not caused by the update, the Kmode Exception Not Handled error is most likely caused by a driver problem.
You may see "Error: Kmode_Exception_Not_Handled," followed by a name in brackets. That name is the driver that's causing the problem and the one we want to update.
Perform a search for that driver to find out what hardware it relates to and then follow the steps below.

Type "Device Manager" into the Windows search bar and click the corresponding entry.
Find the hardware that corresponds to the driver error and right click it. Choose "Update driver" from the drop-down menu.
When given the choice, select "Search automatically for updated driver software," and wait for the process to complete.
If that doesn't work, you can always check your motherboard manufacturer's website to see if there is a new driver release there, or Google the hardware if the driver belongs to an add-in card or other hardware. If so, download it, and perform the driver update manually by selecting "Browse my computer for driver software" instead during the third step.

Hope above information can help you.

An anecdotal comment: I was getting the same crash messages. They stopped appearing after I reseated my nvme solid state drive. So this can apparently be a hardware issue as well. -- MB
