Disabling Unified Labeling on Azure portal

Hello,

Our Sysadmin who no longer works for our company enabled sensitive labels and users started complaining he had to disable them again, this happened about 8 months ago and then 3 months later some users were getting the sensitives again, so he decided to completely delete the labels but these labels still show up on some users. I attached a picture of the azure portal and that option is still active. How can I deactivate this unified labeling on azure?

I am attaching a picture of yellow bar of the sensitive labels.

Thank you for your post and I apologize for the delayed response! When it comes to deactivating the unified labeling client via the Azure Portal, this isn't possible.

You can use any of the following options to uninstall the Azure Information Protection Unified labeling client.

  1. Use Control Panel to uninstall a program: Click Microsoft Azure Information Protection > Uninstall

  2. Rerun the executable (for example, AzInfoProtection_UL.exe), and from the Modify Setup page, click Uninstall.

  3. Run the executable with /uninstall. For example: AzInfoProtection_UL.exe /uninstall

If you're using the Azure Information Protection (classic) client:

  1. Use Control Panel to uninstall a program: Click Microsoft Azure Information Protection > Uninstall

  2. Rerun the executable (for example, AzInfoProtection.exe), and from the Modify Setup page, click Uninstall.

  3. Run the executable with /uninstall. For example: AzInfoProtection.exe /uninstall

If you have any other questions or are still having issues with labeling, please let me know.
Thank you for your time and patience throughout this issue.
