Cost increase in subscription after schedulling start/stop

Hello Team,

We have enabled start/stop of our VM during off hours.

We have questions on cost increase in our subscription after enabling start/stop. They are:

  1. Why has our actual cost increased in the month of March even after scheduling start/stop?

  2. We had 2 VM's that were created with same IP address and machine. We deleted one VM (Test-del) on 30th March,2021 as it was duplicate. We observed that cost for "Test-del" VM was 3 EUR in month of Feb and in month of march it has increased to 27 EUR.

  3. Also, our forecast value has been increasing every month. For the month of April, we see that it shows 806.40 EUR which it used to show around 600 EUR. Could you please explain why this is happening even after taking all measures to save cost?

Let me know if any other information is required to understand this issue.

Regards,
Poorva

Apologies for the unexpected increase in resource usage costs. I assume your billing concerns have privacy dimensions so the best channel to address these concerns is via dedicated (1:1) channel via our Azure billing support team and not the public forum. The billing engineers are in the best position to review your your overcharge (costs) concerns and provide an amicable resolution based on their findings.

Follow these steps to raise a billing related support request at no extra cost to you. Let me know if you have any followup questions.
