How did you create a recording in your environment? Stream or Microsoft Teams?
If you are create a recording via Microsoft Teams, could you find the recording in your conversation history?
If the recoding is created via Stream, it may related to Microsoft Stream, which we do not support. In this case, we recommend you find immediate help from Streams experts in the Microsoft Stream forum here:

It was via Teams. I checked again today. It was working!! not sure what caused the issue.
