Hi, @SharePointDev-9712 ,

After exporting and importing a subsite .cmp file to an existing sub site. I reproduce your issue in my end. The new file in work space will not get a document id while in the sub site everything works fine. The only workaround I find will be creating a new workspace. The document id will be generated properly there.

Thanks JerryXu, we migrated workspace from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013 which is having some content type, workflows and settings. In SharePoint 2013.
Could you please let me know how to create workspace in sp 2013 so after creating I can use workflows and content type which is already in my other workspace.
