Microsoft Remote Desktop

My MacBook Pro has the High Sierra 10.13.16 and I want to install Microsoft Remote Desktop. I tried to install it from. Appstore and received an warning: that I need the version 10.14 to use this software. Where can I obtain a version for my machine?

Thanks. Fernando Ventura Jr.

10.14 is basically an inelegant way to say "you need at least Mac OS Mojave". What Microsoft Remote Desktop is trying to tell you is that your operating system is too old and not supported anymore. I personally suggest to upgrade to mac OS Catalina or Big Sur and skip Mojave, because Mojave is again pretty "old" already.

You can update your Mac OS operating system for free here: https://support.apple.com/de_DE/downloads/macos

Edit: As for old Microsoft Remote Desktop versions, I think you are out of luck for official downloads, you also may consult this topic here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/238201/where-i-can-download-remote-desktop-rdk-older-vers.html

My macbook is a mid2010. The last acceptable version is the High Sierra. I have a friend who has the same version and use this software.
