Visual Studio Code - How to collaborate at any time?

So, I use Visual Studio Code Live Share and help my friend work on code.

I have 2 problems:
1) They're starting to get sick of creating new sessions.
2) Due to problem 1, I can't fix bugs that affect the code we're writing.

Other than talking to them about it (which I will try, if nothing else works), are there any ways to collaborate at any time without a link?

I thought of GitHub, but it seems confusing getting a bash file (forgot to mention, they use a Mac) to download the latest version and run it.

(Edit: Sorry if the tag is inaccurate, I can't find any other tags that match this topic)

Hi @45041455 ,

Currently, Microsoft Q&A supports the products listed over here: supported topics (more to be added later on). Your question about Visual Studio Code Live Share is not supported currently. You could report this issue here: live-share.

Sincerely,
Anna
