Graph API - Create profileCardProperty Not Showing on Contact Card

We are trying to add an employeeID field to our O365 Contact Cards. The field is already available in Azure AD. We followed the steps in the below article logged in as a Global Admin with User.ReadWrite, -or- User.ReadWrite.All permissions.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/organizationsettings-post-profilecardproperties?view=graph-rest-beta&tabs=http

We received a success(200) response. I can see the added field under additional information on the Delve profile, but not on the contact cards. It has been more than 24 hours since we ran the query.

Any thoughts on how to get this to display on the contact cards? Thanks!

Could you explain or reference the contact card you mean. Asking because the doc link is talks about Profile Cards and not Contact Cards

Sorry. Contact section of the profile cards in Office 365. So we want the field to display in SharePoint Online when you look at a profile for a user, as well as within Outlook when you open up the profile card for a user.

@Danstan any other questions on thoughts on this? We are still only seeing the employee ID info in Delve. We are not seeing it anywhere else on the employee Profile Cards. Appreciate any insight you can provide.

We were never able to get the field to display on the profile card. The APIs were in preview at the time so we were told not to use them in production. We decided not to use them and found an alternative solution for users to view the field we were trying to add. I hope you have better luck!
