Hybrid Joined Devices with multiple users

Hi Guys,

We plan to enroll existing Windows 10 devices as Hybrid joined AAD devices and then into Intune for ongoing management. My question is related to devices where multiple users log in using their on-premise AD credentials. Is this a supported scenario today? also are there any implications with shared devices which are hybrid joined?

I have researched this and am aware that there is a shared device scenario which is supported by Intune however the accounts used to log onto the devices are either local or Azure AD so this doesn't apply to hybrid joined devices.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

@Shaun-3271 Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

For this issue, I have done the test in my lab. I used Azure AD account to login Hybrid AAD joined device but failed. However, when I used on-premise AD account to login, it succeeded.

At the same time, I have done a lot of research. I find that hybrid AAD joined device is still an AD-joined device, users still sign on with their AD credentials validated against a domain controller.

Note: Non-Microsoft link, just for the reference.

So, based on my understanding, on-premise AD account can login the Hybrid AAD joined device.

Hope the above information will help.
