Is it possible to use two screens at home for remote desktop

I am using microsoft remote desktop on my macbook to connect to my windows PC in work.

I have a monitor plugged into my macbook at home, am I able to use two screens with remote desktop once connected. Currently when connect it will only allow me to control the remote desktop on one screen.

Remote Desktop is currently not supported in the Q&A forums, the supported products are listed over here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/products (more to be added later on).
