Dynamic record update

Hi All,

Does disjoining the computer account from domain remove the respective host record in Dns server. This is how dynamic update works?

Hi,
If you choose Secure only option from Dynamic updates, then disjoining the computer account from domain, the respective host record will be removed in DNS server.

If you choose Nonsecure and secure option from Dynamic updates, then disjoining the computer account from domain, the respective host record will be remained in DNS server.

The respective host record being removed or not in DNS server really depends on your Dynamic updates setting.
