Linux OpenSSL out of Supported range

hey ,

i am using scom 2016 and i have to mobitor 5 Unix Servers for today(!)
when i try to install the agent from the wizerd i get the folowing error :

Failed to install kit. Exit code: 60
Standard Output: Extracting...
Installing cross-platform agent ...

Error: This system does not have a supported version of OpenSSL installed.
This system's OpenSSL version: 1.1.1c
Supported versions: 0.9.8*, 1.0.*

please i need help in this case .

Unfortunately, Unix agent is compatible with OpenSSL 1.1.0 only starting with SCOM 2019 : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/system-center/scom/whats-new-in-om?view=sc-om-2019#openssl-110-version-support

As a workaround you can try manually installing the latest OMS agent as described in the comments here : https://systemcenterom.uservoice.com/forums/293064-general-operations-manager-feedback/suggestions/19965736-linux-openssl-out-of-supported-range
(working link to more recent version of scxagent : https://github.com/microsoft/SCXcore-kits/blob/master/release/scx-1.6.6-0.universal.x64.sh )
