How to connect with ADF to MS access files on Azure VM?

Hello Team,

Would need your inputs. We have MS Access 2000 files on Azure VM, we ADF to extract data from these source files and store on Azure Data Lake.

  1. Do we need to install Self Hosted Integration on Azure VM?

  2. Any specific port needs to be opened?

  3. Any other points to be considered?

Regards,
Soni

Hello @Soni-9294 and welcome to Microsoft Q&A.

  1. Yes you need to install SHIR on the Virtual Machine.

  2. Port 443 Outbound only, according to create-self-hosted-integration-runtime. This may be open by default.

  3. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/data-factory/connector-microsoft-access

Nice. I'd like to refer to this article from our MS Access support site at Help4Access.com

Feel free to do so @Help4Access . For clarification, do you mean this page itself, or the documentation articles I linked?
