Open with Access option disabled in on-Premise SharePoint for Discussion Board

Hello, I am unable to see "Open with Access" option in on-Premise SharePoint for Discussion Board. It appears as disabled. Kindly help me how to enable this. I require it to upload multiple entries at once.90269-openwithaccess.jpg

Hi @SuryahasYadavPersonalAcc-9122,

It may be a browser caused issue. Which browser are you using? As per my test, this option worked in Internet Explorer and greyed out in other browsers like Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Try to open the discussion board page using IE and see if it lets you proceed.

Hello, yes for me as well, this option was enabled only in IE. For other options it was appearing as disabled. But now its disabled in IE as well. So I am looking to see how to enable it. If not, is there any alternative to perform multiple entries upload operation. Thanks!

@SuryahasYadavPersonalAcc-9122,

What's your IE version? IE 9 and 10 is supported with this option. Also make sure ExportDatabase plugin is enabled. To confirm if you have this add-on enabled, open Internet Explorer, click Settings>Manage Add-ons, select Tools and Extensions and choose Currently loaded add-ons under Show in the left navigation, check if you have SharePoint Export Database Launcher add-on enabled.
