Hi,

We have provisioned VM in Azure for applications purpose. Now the applications want to send email, is there a way to do it in Windows server or setup a VM to perform this function?

I would like to setup the VM as a smtp smart server so that all other servers can point to this VM to send mail out. Is it possible ?

Currently, our on-premise smtp smart host is configured using Solaris sendmail. All on-premise applications (excluding exchange) are point to this on-premise sendmail smtp smart host to send email out.

I would like to use the same approach by using Windows as smart host instead. All applications in Azure that need to send email out will point to this Windows smart host. Is it possible?
