Detail Rows Expression Not Available in Properties

I am working with someone who is using Visual Studio 2019 to create a tabular SSAS project for SSAS 2019.

She has created multiple measures but none of them display the choice for "Detail Rows Expression" in the Properties. The property window identifies it as a measure and has the correct calculation.

What else could be wrong that would prevent this from showing?

What compatibility mode do you have set for your Tabular model? I believe you need to be in at least level 1400 or greater to make use of the DetailRowExpression

Thanks Darren. It should be set at 1500 but I will check and verify that. Thanks for the tip!

Hi @TerryWilliams-5510,

A Detail Rows Expression is a property on a measure, providing end-users more information about the aggregated results of a measure.

It should be in Properties > Advanced>Detail Rows Expression.

You may refer here for more details.

Regards,

Zoe

Thank you Zoe. Yes, that is true. However, as I said, it is not showing in the properties.
