DNS taking 10~ Seconds to Resolve Connections

Got a bit of a major issue with resolving DNS, for some reason its taking around 10~ seconds to resolve any domain, because of this all the services on my server are timing out and making connections to the server also takes awfully long.

I'm trying to figure out if this would be an issue on the providers end (OVH - Australia) or if I have messed something up with the server configurations.

Is there anything that I could check/test to figure out what's causing it?

Here's a video of how long it's taking to resolve:

It's quite simple really. A domain controller should only have a single enabled network adapter. If you need a VPN / RRAS server on network then always use a dedicated member server for this role.

Awesome, thankyou.
Regarding the VPN / RRAS, I have that running on the host machine and the DC on a VM, so I'll make another VM and move VPN / RRAS to it :)

Ok, that would probably be a better solution as it's recommended to to install hyper-v role as only role on host without other applications as well. As to the domain controller you may just need to disconnect from one of the vSwitches.

I removed the external switch from the DC, it hasn't improved the resolution time, will the resolution time get fixed most likely after I move the RRAS server to the a new vm?

This one is the server having the issue.

This is the domain controller (which can't seem to resolve any domains, but can resolve IPv4's)

The domain controller is multi-homed which will always cause no end to grief for active directory DNS

Would you happen to have any documents/articles on how I can go about making the domain controller not multihomed?
