Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, you're writing a UWP application and hope to play DVDs from the disk tray and you're considering using FFmpegInterop library to do so. However, I'm not clear if you're looking for help using the FFmpegInterop library, or asking for a built-in library to play media.

If you're looking for help with the FFmpegInterop library, I have to share that Microsoft employees can't support or suggest any 3rd party libraries such as FFmpegInterop in any official capacity, but I do want to make sure we understand the question and leave it open to the broader community to answer.
