Oneview Configuration Dashboard is completed (added the oneview appliance)

under Event Manager Service view I see critical alert on all of the SCOM management servers Fyi we have installed the event manager service in all of the SCOM management servers.

HPE OneView Event Manager service running on all of the management servers. also tried restarting them still not able to discover the HPE proliant servers.

kindly assist us on this issue.

HI @kumaravelu-1265,

I have installed the HPE OneView MP many times, the last time being two months ago. I often see that issue. You need to check a couple of things, in order to ensure that your appliances appear in SCOM:

  • Ensure the user has the permissions: "Users must be now part of the infrastructure administrator role and must have scope to all resources."

  • The next thing you need to ensure is that ypour port is open. There are REST calls being done, so depending on whther you have a certificate or not, you need to open püort 80 and/or 443 to your appliance.

  • Ensure you can open the appliance login page from your SCOM server and login using the user for the integration, this is a good way to test the connectivity.

  • Ensure your appliance discovery is enabled.

Please lt me know how iot goes.

Hi Stoyan,

Yes, we are able to login to the appliance page from our SCOM Management server.

how can we perform the below mentioned Task.
Ensure your appliance discovery is enabled.

this is already enabled by default "HPE OneView Appliance Discovery"

also is there a MP guide for the latest HP Oneview Management pack which was released on March of 2021.
