Hello Team,

I have installed SCOM agent on RH 7.9 server.

but i'm unable to find the service. The output of the below command does not give any result related to SCOM service in the output

systemctl list-units --type=service

It is very critical for us to specify the name of the service in our deployment tool.

But it is not the case with Ubuntu server.

Please advise. Any help will be much appreciated

Hi,

I don't have a RHEL server available. Based on the lab test with centos 7.9, it seems the service name is omid (OMI CIM Server)

For our problem, does it apply to all the RH servers or just specific one? If specific, we may uninstall and re-install the agent to see if there is any difference. For installing agent, kevin's blog can be reference.

Note: this is not from MS, just for your reference.
