Enpoint Configuration Manager 2002 and Server OS versions

Question

I have recently updated my site to MECM 2002 and now have a project to upgrade all my Windows servers from Windows Server 2012 R2 to Windows Server 2019. Do I need to upgrade all my servers in the same sitting (Primary site server (hosts MP) and 2 distribution point servers) or can they be done one at a time as I work though this upgrade project?
