SQL Availability Groups: On-prem with Azure

Hi,

What are the current options with this? Last time I checked to do either sync or a-sync of an on-prem AG to Azure, you needed a full VM running full SQL to even start.

Is this still the case? Anything changed with Managed Instances?

Thanks

@LankyDoodle-7423 Thank you for reaching out.
You can set up transactional replication from an on-premises SQL server to Azure SQL database.
