Contract Management Software

My company is looking for a contract management system that could be built integrated with our SharePoint environment. The reason we are not looking for a third party solution is that we already have a lot of documents in SharePoint and it would be very hard to move all that to a new environment. so, instead we have decided to build a contract management integrated in SharePoint. Our users are also very experienced in managing and working with SharePoint so that makes the adoption of such a solution will be much easier for us, that is one other reason we are considering SharePoint based solution. A solution that leverages on the Power Automate to automate the processes and send reminders is what we have in mind. We are also looking for features like E-signature integration and a comprehensive dashboard.

We are prospecting some contract management software tools, much like this, but i thought hey it would be great to get insight from you guys since you guys have been of great help in the past. I hope you guys can help me with this too. do share what you guys think and any alternatives for this if you know. Thank in advance for sharing.

@WilliamStafford-6233

Contract renewal management software could not be built integrated with SharePoint Online.

In the SharePoint Online, there are no OOTB features like E-signature and comprehensive dashboard.

For E-signature, you could use code to achieve this.

For dashboard, you could design the dashboard in excel then show in the SharePoint page.

@WilliamStafford-6233 You mentioned that you are looking to build a contract system because you have lot of documents in sharepoint and all of them you are not able to move out of it.

Yes, this is a common problem with mass document migration in Contract management implementation, however I suggest you to look for more options like CMx Contract Management Software ( https://www.contractexperience.com ) which can index and keep the sharepoint documents intact without moving but still provide you an alternative view and ability to manage deep CLM process outside of SharePoint.

This is because, you will still be able to manage or update your sharepoint repository, however there will be an additional mirror of all documents automatically on the other system once you connect both together and enable the mirroring option. Hope this makes sense.
