[MS-WCCE] broken links to [KEYGEN] specifications

[MS-WCCE] document contains several links to Netscape Keygen specifications that point to external resource. However, external resource no longer contain keygen specs. Example: §3.2.1.4.2.1.4.1.4 New Certificate Request Using KEYGEN Request Format. Document contains a link to Microsoft forwarder (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=166240) and forwarder redirects to a page that doesn't contain any Keygen specs anymore.

I tried to find something more reliable and didn't find much. The closest is Mozilla Developer Network: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/keygen.

Hi Crypt32,

I have identified several broken reference links for [KEYEN] and a few other documents in [MS-WCCE]. I will file a request to update the links and follow up.

Yes, [KEYGEN] is referenced in different sections in [MS-WCCE], I just provided a sample section.

We have made the following changes to [MS-WCCE] for the next release of the document:

  1. Replaced outdated [PKCS12] with [RFC7292]

  2. Replaced outdated [PKCS1] with [RFC8017]

  3. Replaced outdated [PKCS3] with [RFC2631]

  4. Updated link for [CertTransp]

  5. Updated link for [KEYGEN] and renamed to [HTMLQ-keygen]. with additional references as needed.

  6. Updated link for [MSFT-ADVCERT] and renamed to [MSDOCS-certreq]

  7. Fixed broken reference to [MSFT-CRL]

I hope that helps!
