How to Find Advanced Training for Template Creation/Conversion

I created Word templates 15-20 years ago that involved form fields, Visual Basis form creation, macros, etc. With our company cracking down on macros and platform changes, I'd like to be able to convert our templates so they will work across all platforms better. I'm looking for a one-on-one training where I can bring our most complex templates and have someone show me the best way to go about this. I HOPE THIS IS POSSIBLE!

If one-on-one training is possible due to Covid, I'm looking for one-on-one virtual training specific to my company's needs.

I HOPE THIS IS POSSIBLE! Thank you!

I do not know of any training that addresses your needs.

Here, though, is an Add-In that will convert legacy forms to using Content Controls. It will at least give you a start.
Content Control Tools by Greg Maxey
You would need authorization to use its macros on your computer to do the conversions.
Here is his page on using Content Controls in forms.

As far as the macros in your forms, they will need to be addressed one at a time. There may or may not be non-macro approaches that will work.
I would suggest posting such questions in the Microsoft Community or on the Word vba forum.

For some purposes you may be able to use fields. For others, AutoText/Building Blocks and/or Mapped Content Controls may meet your needs.

Thank you Charles. If I remember correctly, I tried converting forms a few years back - when legacy fields were replaced with content control, and I just couldn't get the hang of it. Sometimes I need to have someone tell me specifically or show me what I have to do then it will make sense. I'll check into Greg's links further and maybe it will make sense to me this time around.
