Hi ShambhaviRai-8086,

properties.enableVmProtection is not longer used which is a legacy API. If you want to protect your VM, then you need to enable enableDDoSProtection option. In order to do that you need to first create a Standard DDOS plan. Before enabling that feature please review the pricing information and proceed.
