I need to disable it completely or at least for properties window. In options I can change font and size, but bold checkbox is grayed out?! Why? How to workaround this?

Hi @Servail,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!
You can go to Tools > Options > Environment > Fonts and Colors > Select Environment under “Show settings for:” option > change the font and size under the “Font (bold type indicates fixed-width fonts):” option. Then, relaunch your Visual Studio to make changes.
Besides, the Bold checkbox can’t be checked currently. You can report it to product team by selecting “Help” menu > Send Feedback > Suggest a Feedback.
Sincerely,
Anna

Seems like it's bolding most of the small pixel fonts for some reason, and only in some places. When I use in example Tahoma it's normal, properties and other stuff are not bold.
Hi @Servail, it is designed like this. The names of fixed width fonts are listed in bold. If you have any suggestions, I suggest you directly report it to product team by selecting “Help” menu > Send Feedback > Suggest a Feedback.
