PC is BRICKED after restricting apps through Group Policy

Hi, it appears that I have essentially bricked my PC.

I was trying to restrict one local user's application privileges to only run a few specific applications.

was running through this guide.

https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/8739/restrict-users-to-run-only-specified-programs-in-windows-7/

Unfortunately I missed the part where the guide said...

"You’ll need to do a little extra setup by first creating a policy object for those users"
and so, instead of applying the application restriction policy to only the user in question I applied it to all users of that PC.

It now appears that I have restricted all of the PC's users to only open the specified apps and I cant open the group policy editor again to reverse the changes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

FYI: Things like the below will not work because I don't have access to Command Prompt or Powershell. I only have access to calc.exe and notepad.exe.

Again, any help would be appreciated.

Try from a Safe Mode boot, run regedit, navigate to
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System
create a new D_Word name DisableGPO and set it to 1 (one)
