ACS - simulcast or similar feature

Hi Azure,
Our customers want to know if ACS is suitable for migrating from the existing system.
We have some questions:
Does ACS support simulcast? If ACS does not support, is there a similar function?
How to ensure performance when there are large numbers of participants with different devices?
Does ACS support transform codecs to suit each type of device?

If possible please provide us the documents.

Thanks in advance for any help you are able to provide.

Hi @RhinozD-3999,

-Does ACS support simulcast? If ACS does not support it, is there a similar function?
Currently, ACS does not support simulcast and we do not have a similar function. However, if you would like to see simulcast functional supported as a feature request please leave your feedback on our UserVoice platform.

How to ensure performance when there are large numbers of participants with different devices?
The underlying tech for ACS is Microsoft Teams. Here is documentation that shows how you can monitor and maintain call and meeting quality for your organization by using Microsoft Teams Call Quality Dashboard (CQD). Also, here are some known issues & solutions that may affect performance with ACS.

-Does ACS support transform codecs to suit each type of device?
The call types Azure Communication Services supports are : Voice Over IP (VoIP),Public switched telephone network (PSTN),One-to-one call, and Group call. For video, ACS currently only supports H.264 (Mpeg - 4).

Here an in-depth youtube video about all things ACS.

Hope that is help! please let us know if you have further questions.
