Mac Safari 14.1 Remote Desktop Web Client - nothing happens when clicking resource

I'm accessing work through Safari on my iMac. I just updated to Big Sur 11.3 yesterday. Now, when I go to the website to access my virtual PC, clicking on the resource (virtual PC) opens the "Access Local Resources" window, but then does nothing after I click Allow. I've deleted the cookies for microsoft. I've restarted. Nothing I've tried so far works. I CAN, however, log in as usual using Firefox.

How do I get this working again in Safari?

Thanks for your help!

Up to 10 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 3.0 MiB each and 30.0 MiB total.

I am having the same issue with 11.3.1 and Safari 14.1 Using the Remote desktop client works just fine, but using the Web Remote Desktop does not work any more. We are running web remote desktop version 1.0.24.0.

This may be a safari bug.

Hello @DanHausman-1732 ,

What about using Safari in private browsing mode?

I did try the following:

InPrivate mode
All extensions disabled

Running macOS 11.3.1 Safari 14.1. I did not have success with any of the above.

Hello @amaneta-8206 ,

Did this issue only happen for Web Client? Will the Microsoft Remote Desktop app work for your Mac?
Did you update the Remote Desktop web client to the latest available version?

Did you have Microsoft Remote Desktop 10 installed? Older versions of Microsoft Remote Desktop are not compatible with this Safari browser service.

Hello @amaneta-8206 & @DanHausman-1732 ,

We haven’t heard from you in a couple of days. Please post back at your convenience if we can assist further.

Did you access the following web client page: https://rdweb.wvd.microsoft.com/arm/webclient?

I can access that page, but seeing that page on our rdweb sever was fine too. Logging into the Remote Desktop web server was not the issue. The problem was connecting to a computer once logged into rdweb.

When I log in using your link I get:
It looks like your system administrator hasn’t set up any resources for hausman.10@osu.edu yet. Please choose a different account or try again. If you believe you have received this message in error, please contact your system administrator.

When I log into my server, I can see all of my connections and click on one, I get the message about allowing local access. Once I allow it, I get taken back to the screen with all of my connections and nothing happens when using safari.

It is working fine in Firefox and Chrome. Was also fine in previous versions of macOS. I already posted in UserVoice.

Hello @amaneta-8206 & @DanHausman-1732 ,

I've received feedback from our product group that it is a known issue with Mac Safari Remote Desktop Web Client.
Fix is deployed across most regions, but not across all PROD rings. Users should continue to use an alternate browser until the fix is fully rolled out.
If Safari is the only option, users can try to use this URL to get the fixed client (1.0.24.71): https://rdweb-r1.wvd.microsoft.com/arm/webclient/index.html
Will keep you updated.
