IS Hyper-V 2012 R2 Storage Migration is from san to san ..no network utilization

Windows 2012 r2 Server with Hyper-v Role has to transfer the cluster disk csv from one storage to another. Is storage migration will help for the activity ?Storage migration will not utilize network?

Hi,
Based on my understanding, during the storage migration, the files would be available, but you still need network as an access to them.

Thanks for the Reply.
Actually we have a new storage device on our On-prem and we need to transfer the vhd files to new storage as all our hype-v is with san.
Little worried to do storage migration to the new storage as it might impact network bandwidth.

Any impact with storage migration of couple of gb's on network side?
