winlogon.exe causing random shutdowns

I have been having this random shutdowns for days now. I have already tried antivirus scans, windows defender scans, reinstalling windows. Swapping ram sticks, swapping and/or removing gpu, swapping psu. Changing several power settings and other settings that may be related to this issue. None have worked. Sometimes the pc also turns on itself randomly but I cannot found any event id for this exact thing.

I first looked at the event log and found the event 41 kernel indicating that the pc just shut down. Then I found this other event that says that a winlogon.exe is initating the shutdowns. There is basically no info on how to fix this.

The process C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exe (DESKTOP-0G9VTAA) has initiated the Apagar of computer DESKTOP-0G9VTAA on behalf of user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM for the following reason: No se encontraron títulos para este motivo
Reason Code: 0x500ff
Shutdown Type: Apagar
Comment:

Some of this is in spanish as that the the language from my system but it basically says that it initiated a shutdown. I am desperate as I cannot work on a pc that shut downs itself randomly. Not sure what tag to use. Sorry

That Problems maybe occurs due to the overheating of the processor or if your processor is overclocked more than it's max capacity then the Processor will going to initiate the shut down unexpectedly with the same code which you have Provided here.

For this issue you can reset the bios setting to the original one and then trying to execute the program if this will not work then firstly try to check there maybe a one more event which causes the unexpected shuts down if you have installed the any application to boot the other windows like virtual box for operating system and then you have removed it or in past you have installed and forget to cleans it then there will be a event for Explorer.exe which may causes the shut down.

I Hoper this may found you helpful for solving this issue in my case the problem is of the second one that explorer of the virtual box causes me to unexpected shut down in my friends Laptop.

Hi, there is no other event like the explorer one you mentioned, only the winlogon.exe one. As well, I have already ran the Intel Utility test and it showed my cpu to be fine. I have never overclocked it and the temperatures have always been fine as I can monitor them. Changing the mobo changed nothing so it is not a BIOS setting. Pc is currently being tested somewhere else and the issue dissapeared so it seems to be either caused by my ups or the electricity at my house.
