Hi All!

One of our notebook (DELL 3590, Win10 20H2) got the enablement package (KB4562830 update) yesterday.
Today I realised that the all earlier Windows event logs were deleted. So it has event logs since the update.
How happened this?
How can I check that what deleted the logs and why?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
As far as I know, KB4562830 is a feature update for Windows 10 20H2. This should be normal behavior
If the feature update is installed, the event logs could be removed.
Feature update is different from monthly security updates. Monthly security updates occur every month and only update the version number of the system and do not delete the event log.
After install the feature update, all event logs should be newly created. Old logs may be found in the Windows.old folder.
    C:\Windows.old\Windows\System32\winevt\Logs
Hope this helps and please help to accept as Answer if the response is useful.
    Best Regards,
    Carl
