SCCM CMG with Azure CSP Subscription

Hi,

The installed SCCM version is 2010 and I want to implement CMG in our environment.
Our subscription is Azure CSP which does not support cloud service (classic).

SCCM 2010 supports CMG with Virtual machine scale sets.

My question is what is the difference between cloud service (classic) and Virtual machine scale sets.

Does VM Scale set have advantages over cloud service (classic) for CMG?

We have about 2000 computers that will connect to CMG with growth expected later.

Thanks

Other than being able to support a CSP-based Azure subscription, no. The two are effectively interchangeable although VM Scale Sets is clearly a new technical implementation of some of the components and thus hasn't undergone nearly as much real-world testing.
