Opened a case with VMware, suggested updating some drivers didn't help.

Any more suggestions??

Thanks!

Hi,

do you got any progress on this matter? I got the same error on 2 VMWare VMs and it is driving me insane.

Thanks in advance!

I'm really happy I'm not the only one who has this issue, but unfortunately I haven't got any progress.
I have an open support case with Cisco and VMware, they still couldn't find something.
We don't need a common answer here, of course I've tried everything google suggest!!
Have you done anything yourself?

Hi,

sad to hear, that even VMWare could not help in this matter.

I tried a lot of common things. Even reinstalled the VMs several times.

The funny thing is, on the same host are 3 VMWare VMs. Only 2 of them are crashing with this bluescreen. The third VM has Docker running and therefore a configured Hyper-V (requirement for Docker on Windows). This VM did not crash a single time over the course of several weeks/months.

Yesterday, I set the following setting, but it is to early to tell, if it is working:

„bcdedit /set useplatformclock yes“

The HAL error is conflicted with the CPU timings. Maybe changing this setting changes the behavior.

I will have to check the following days/weeks if the bluescreen still exists.

Maybe you also tried this setting without luck?

I would like to ask whether your windows version is the latest. And do you have other memory or mini dumps? And you can try the following methods:
1. You can try clean boot to exclude the influence of antivirus software or third-party software.
2. You can check if the driver or BIOS is up to date.
3. You can try to use chkdsk /f command in the command prompt as administrator to see if it works.
4. You can try to use driver verifier to determine what driver caused the problem. Hope this helps and please help to accept as Answer if the response is useful.
There isn’t any useful information in the dump, due to security policy, we can’t offer dump analysis. And you can open go to Microsoft to open a case: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4341255/support-for-busines.
