does excel in onedrive for business have a get data from external sources option?

on desktop excel you are able to make a data connection with microsoft query to another database. I cannot find this option in onedrive. when I copied an existing spreadsheet to onedrive and tried to refresh the data the error says the external data refresh failed.

    Hi @Pat Gonyon ,
    Did you mean you cannot refresh data from OneDrive in web?
    Not all features are supported in Excel for Web, as the article said: The last known value for an external reference is displayed in a browser window. External references must be updated using Excel.
