How to have Edge with 2 language on a RDS Server

Hello all,

I wanted to know a way to remove the "Translate" pop-up that arrive on Edge without completly disabling the component via GPO (On RDS 2019). We are a bilingual compagny that uses both English and French. The GPO is to agressive and stops it completly without leaving the users the option to translate a page if he needs to.

I have found that having both language installed in the browser does not make the pop-up for pages that are in those languages, which would also be adequate. I can install the language inside only the session of 1 user at a time and I was wondering if there was a way to have it by default with both language for all users (I already tried installing the language pack for the server with no luck).

I appreciate the help,

Thank you

Hi @OlivierEthier-6399

You can install two languages in Edge using this policy: DefinePreferredLanguages.

For example, if you want to have English and French installed in Edge, you can enable this policy and set the Options value to en,fr like this:

After applying the policy, English and French will be installed in Edge by default:
